Privacy Policy
1. Summary
You can play the Game fully offline without an account. We only collect data if you choose to sign in with Google to use online features (friends, sending/requesting oil, leaderboards). You can play forever without signing in.
2. Data we process
If you do not sign in: your progress (levels, coins, settings) is stored only on your device. We do not collect it.
If you sign in with Google (only when you tap Friends, Leaderboards, or Send/Request Oil), we process:
- Your Google account identifier, display name and profile photo (as provided by Google Sign-In).
- A display name and a friend code we generate for you.
- Game stats you choose to share: best score, highest level, and your per-level results (percentage lit and score), for leaderboards and friend comparisons.
- A backup of your in-game progress (level, coins, achievements, unlocks and settings) stored on your account so you can restore it after reinstalling or on another device. You control it with the Back up / Restore controls in the Account screen, and it is removed when you delete your account.
- Your friends list, friend requests, and oil-gift records (who sent/received, and the date).
- Basic technical data needed to run the service (e.g. timestamps).
We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, messages, or device identifiers for advertising. We do not sell your data. We show no third-party ads.
3. Why we process it
To let you add friends, send and request oil, and appear on leaderboards; and to operate and secure these features.
4. Where it is stored
On Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore and related Google Cloud services), operated by Google. Data may be processed on Google servers. See Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Sharing
- Your display name, photo and shared scores are visible to other players on leaderboards and to your friends.
- We share data only with Google (as our infrastructure provider) and as required by law.
6. Retention & your choices
- You can keep playing offline at any time.
- You can delete your account and its online data at any time directly in the Game: open Friends while signed in and tap Delete account. This immediately removes your profile, friends, leaderboard score and oil requests, and deletes your sign-in account; your offline progress on the device is kept.
- You may also request deletion by contacting [email protected]; we will delete your profile, friends, gift records and leaderboard entries within 14 days, except where retention is legally required.
- You can sign out at any time in the Game’s settings.
7. Children
The Game is intended for a general audience. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, use the online features only with a parent or guardian’s permission. We do not knowingly collect data from children in a way prohibited by law; contact us to remove such data.
8. Security
We use Google’s security measures and access rules to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date will change and significant changes will be notified in-app.
